Your lost privacy: How posts on MySpace can divulge details you never wanted to share

   If you think your personal world is private, think again. Your employer or your school administrators might know a lot more about your private life than you expect.
   So, too, might the personnel department of any company where you're interviewing for a job.
   Likewise, your new boyfriend. Or your landlord.
   All these people in your life have gained new access to your private thoughts and, sometimes, fantasies. All you have to do is post them on any personal site such as MySpace.com. Whatever you put on MySpace is there for everyone to see.
   When I mention this to MySpace users, I sometimes get a blank stare in return. One girl, age 15 or 16, gave me the kind of look normally reserved for family pests.
   "But I'm only putting that stuff up for my friends," she told me.
   I admit that the Internet works in mysterious ways sometimes.
